Room Sharing

A number of participants have inquired about the possibility of sharing rooms.  For a list of conference attendees (from which to make possible connections), please see the above tab “Attendees List.”

Conference Hotels
We’ve reserved a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Downtown and at the Best Western, Delaware Avenue. These rooms are near the pick-up for a bus that will transport conference attendees to UB’s North Campus, where the conference will be held.

  • Holiday Inn Downtownlocated at 620 Delaware Ave. To reserve a room, call (716) 886-2121. We’ve reserved 40 rooms for 4/8 and 4/9 (double and king); guests will be charged $119 per night. Conference attendees must make a reservation by 3/9/16 or they open up to other guests and should ask to make reservation under “UB English Department.”
  • Best Western On the Avenue located at 510 Delaware Ave. To reserve a room call (716) 259-1174. We’ve reserved 25 rooms for 4/8 and 4/9 (double beds); guests will be charged $112 per night. Conference attendees must make a reservation by 3/7/16 or they open up to other guests and should ask to make the reservation under “UB English Department.”
  • Ramada Inn Hotel & Conference Center, located at 2402 N Forest Rd, Amherst, NY. To reserve a room contact Amy Poulson at (716) 636-7500, ext. 494 or at amyp@ramadahotelamherst.com. We’ve reserved off 50 rooms (double/queen beds); guests will be charged $79 per night ($89 for a king bed room). Conference attendees must make a reservation by 3/10/16 or they open up to other guests and should ask to make the reservation under “UB English Department.”
